The Skype system for making free telephone calls over the internet is being threatened in a new patent suit from Net2phone. The Skype service, which is growing at a rate of 150,000 new subscribers each day, is facing a lawsuit in the USA saying the Skype has violated Net2phone’s VoIP (voice over internet protocol) patents. Skype is now owned by eBay.
