Don Henley and Glenn Frey of The Eagles have launched legal action against a man they say screened bootlegged live footage of the band at a ticketed event in October without permission. According to New York Daily News, Henley and Frey filed a lawsuit in New York, claiming that Frank Shelley was using the film to “bolster his reputation as a purported music industry ‘insider’ with close connections and ties to many classic rock greats”. They add that they have previously sent cease-and-desist letters, with which Shelley had refused to comply.
