It seems that communications minister Lord Carter has dropped plans for a Digital Rights Agency in the face of criticism from the entertainment industries, consumer groups and internet service providers – but as IP minister David Lammy has recently been supportive of the role of the planned new Agency it is actually difficult to see exactly where this is going.
