Japan’s law, which prohibits dancing in clubs and bars (or any public venue, really) has unless they have a (still limited) dancing license were allowed to carry on, and even then, doors had to close by midnight or 1AM. The law, called fueiho in Japanese, will now be revoked. Their decision comes on the heels of a committee recommendation earlier this year, and will need to be ratified by Japan’s parliament – but in plenty of time for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics!
